Wow! What an amazing 3 days at The Broadway, Barking for our Easter Workshop:
“West End To Broadway!”
The students were pushed to their limits whilst learning original excerpts from hit musicals Legally Blonde, We Will Rock You, and Wicked.
Sophie Isaacs, Ross Hunter and Victoria Farley challenged the students with West End choreography, script work and songs from their favourite musicals and every single student pulled off their hard work with a fantastic showcase yesterday.
Parents and teachers were simply stunned at the talent these students showed us throughout the 3 day workshop and excitement levels were through the roof as we announced that Billy Cullum (currently appearing in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) would be coming along to teach a masterclass on the students’ favourite musical, MATILDA!
Here’s what Erin Brewer (aged 12) had to say about the event:
“Oh my goodness! I must have had the best time ever here at West End Theatre Workshops with Victoria, Ross, Billy and Sophie; also with the other students I have been working with. It’s been a great experience and I’m hoping I’ll have the opportunity to do it all again. THANK YOU!”
Matilda Ball (aged 8) was also in agreement:
“I have had a great week. We have learned 8 amazing scenes in 3 days. I have not done anything like this before. I have had an amazing time, I hope I can go again it is amazing.”
