The ‘ULTIMATE SUMMER ACADEMY’ is the only place to be this Summer!!
Join West End Stars as they take you on an amazing journey through your favourite musicals.
For one week only you will be transported into how it really feels to be part of a West End show!
How does “The Ultimate Summer Academy” differ from other Summer schools?
- You will be taught exclusively by several West End performers who are all currently performing/have recently performed in shows such as Wicked, Les Misérables, Hairspray, Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, We Will Rock You, Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Annie, Grease and many more…
- You will learn original West End choreography, songs and script.
- You will work towards a technically-staged West End showcase which will be performed at the end of the week in Fareham College’s Studio Theatre.
- Students will be divided into respective age groups, so that each and every student can be challenged to their maximum ability.
- YOU vote for a “Musical Masterclass” of your choice – tell us your favourite West End musical and we will invite a cast member from that musical to join us at our Summer Academy for an amazing masterclass!
We also offer additional masterclasses for those students wanting a little extra professional training, or who are considering a career in performing.
These optional masterclasses include:
- Audition Tecnique and Casting Masterclass with an award-winning London Casting Director.
- Vocal Technique with a professionally trained voice coach.
- Dance Diversity – explore different dance styles with one of our fantastic dance tutors.
- Dramatic Skills Masterclass and an Introduction to Improvisation.
