ANNIE with Harry Blumenau
Voted their favourite musical by so many of our students, we are proud to offer this class with Harry Blumenau; casting director for “Annie” in the West End.
Harry is responsible for the children’s casting of “Annie” (and all the orphans!) in the current West End production and the recent touring production.
Students will workshop musical numbers whilst experiencing a taste of what it would be like to audition for this show in the West End!

THE LION KING with Curtis Angus
Curtis is a presenter for Channel 5’s popular children’s TV show “Milkshake”. He also works extensively in theatre and dance.
Having recently finished a two-year contract with West End musical “The Lion King”, Curtis will transport our students into a real-life Disney jungle!

Having recently appeared in the hit West End Disney musical “The Lion King”, Curtis will begin his journey as an original cast member for the highly-anticipated West End musical “Hamilton” which arrives in London this Autumn.
Curtis is an experienced dancer who will be channelling some of his “Hip Hop Groove” to bring you this up-beat dance masterclass.

SCHOOL OF ROCK
with Andrew Bryant
Actor-Musician, Andrew Bryant, is back by popular demand! This year he will lead a unique workshop based on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s newest rock musical.
“School of Rock” is fast becoming one of the most popular musicals amongst our students, and provides another dynamic of musical theatre; focusing on the music. You do not need to be a rock star or a musician to enjoy this workshop; with its high-energy and brilliant music every student will love it.

AUDITION TECHNIQUE
with Harry Blumenau
An essential class for all students who are currently studying musical theatre at a further level, or who are considering a career in the performing arts.
Harry Blumenau, Associate Casting Director for the industry-renowned Debbie O’Brien, specialises in theatre casting for the West End, UK and International tours and regional productions. His masterclasses are hugely beneficial to all performers and are attended weekly by current working professionals; even the most experienced West End performers are continually enhancing their training and skills.
Harry provides insight into the skills required to: deliver the best standard of audition; what is expected from you in the audition room; how to choose the right material for you; finding a suitable agent; networking and applying for jobs; plus advice on applying to dance/drama schools (if applicable).
In addition, each student will prepare and perform a song, dance or drama piece which is suitable for a professional audition, and receive feedback from Harry within this safe and supportive environment.
